Overview

Built around how Indian salons actually trade

Trezlor runs the daily business of hair and beauty salons across India. Staff use it at the billing desk to raise GST-compliant invoices, redeem value cards, packages, and memberships, book appointments, manage stock, and record who did what for commission. Owners get a phone app with the day's takings, monthly targets, staff performance, and a weekly AI-written business summary; clients get their own app for balances and bookings. Unlike generic retail POS software, it is built around the way salons trade: prepaid credit redeemed before tax, per-stylist commission splits, multi-outlet chains under one head office, and finance figures that reconcile to the rupee.

ARK Angel Labs designs, builds, and operates the platform end to end, through years of continuous production use — hosted, so a salon needs nothing more than a browser.

Capabilities

What the platform does

Salon billing

Job cards that become GST-compliant invoices: services and retail on one bill, line-level tax, discounts, split payments, and refunds with full reversal.

Prepaid credit

Value cards, packages, advances, gift cards, and memberships — sold and redeemed at the desk with expiry rules and PIN-protected redemption.

Appointments

Booking by salon, date, time, and service — managed at the desk, with a client-facing booking flow in the client app.

Staff & commission

Every service line records up to four staff with percentage splits, feeding performance dashboards and commission reports.

Inventory

Products, lots, purchase orders, per-outlet stock, back-bar check-outs recorded against the stylist, audits, and vendors.

Finance & reconciliation

Register summaries, monthly sales, revenue and refund reports, daily closing and petty cash — all reconciled to what the desk declared.

Owner app & AI reports

Revenue, targets, staff output, and client trends on the owner's phone — plus a weekly AI-written business summary per outlet.

Client app & marketing

Clients see balances, book, and rate visits; salons run SMS and messaging campaigns and promotions from the desk.

Engineering

How it's built

  • Business rules live in the database. Roughly 750 stored procedures over a managed SQL database encode billing, balances, and commissions — called through a compact API service.
  • One reconciled source of truth. A nightly job rebuilds a per-line finance table from the day's bills; every report, commission, and analytics figure reads from it, so the owner's phone, the register, and the accountant agree by construction.
  • No-install browser apps. The desk, owner, client, and staff apps are CDN-served web applications — a salon needs nothing but a browser.
  • Billing correctness outranks everything. Continuous deployment with versioned in-app update prompts and centralised logging, under a documented rule that no change ships at the expense of billing accuracy.
